What’s an example of the best college I can get into with this resume?

Author: I’m still only a sophomore:
3.63 GPA
I have a rigorous, honors filled schedule.
I did track once during freshman year.
Im in a few clubs.
I play guitar and am very enthusiastic about music.
I’m in a non-school band.
Over the summer, I went to enrichment camps.
Do you think I would get accepted to a college like NYU?
What other ‘known’ colleges do you think would accept me?
You’d be surprised by how much can change by the time you’re a senior, there is really no telling what can happen. When I was a sophomore in high school, I had a 4.0 GPA with 3 honors classes, AP Bio, honors orchestra, tennis team, colorguard, newspaper, and some other junk under my belt. Wait until you get a taste of full blown AP courses your junior year combined with nonstop SAT/AP/ACT prep. That’s the real challenge that you need to get over.
What are some good software proficiencies to put on my accounting resume? For example quicken, quick books…?
…What else would look good? ADP? Suggestions? Thanks.
I could give you ton of great pieces of software to place on a resume that will turn an employers head. Only problem is you won’t know how to use the software.
If you put down your proficient in Quick books you better know how to use it. Think about it. If the company you’re applying to uses MS Excel, Power Point and you have Excel on your resume you better know how to use it or you can kiss your job good bye. There is no training unless stated by the employer. Most don’t train.
I see this happen all the time. People will put down they know how to use Execl, Power point. During the interview I sit them in front of a PC and have them show me. Believe it not, at lest 70% were clueless.
So, be honest and only put down what you know.

You find many examples online, or you can go to the library and check out a book or you can hit your local barnes and noble and read through some of the books.

I took a resume which had a list of all my activities, awards, community service, and work experience. My interviewer didn’t ask for it though. We were too busy actually talking.

It is good to start thinking about it. Think about what your qualities and skills are – are you organized, reliable, flexible, a good leader, computer literate, and so on, and think of what you have done (or can do in the next few years to demonstrate that).
Do well in school and get good grades.
Think about what work, clubs, volunteer activities, etc. you have done or can do and what you’ve learned from them. Do you work well with other people? What achievements have you made: honor role, winning competitions, and so on.

How to write an effective resume and what are the entries that I should put into it?
How can I write an effective resume to secure my desired part-time job in call center agency? Also, what are the entries that I should put in my resume (example name, address, educational attainment, etc.)?
