Im 19 years old and interested in getting a job in the customer service field. However, I have only ever worked restaurant jobs and I did graduate high school. Im trying to make the best possible resume for this position. I would LOVE some advice!

You can go to a resume samples website such as resumearmor.com. Samples are cheap and they will give you a good reference point.

I have gotten the oppourtunity to try out for a acting and modeling agecny. The only problem is i have to have a resume. How do i make one if ive had no jobs/experience. (ps im on my sisters account if your wondering the age)

this is a scam, almost certainly. places that double as acting and modeling agencies are generally going to try to steal money for you. if this place is john casablancas, john robert powers or barbazon, RUN. its not real and they have no connections to the industry. they accept everyone as long as youre willing to give them thousands of dollars. if it IS real, if you do not have experience, you do not HAVE a resume. a resume is simply a list of modeling jobs youve had. in the future, be aware acting and modeling agencies that are actually decent are seperate and do not sign one person as both a model and an actor. acting agencies require you have tons of acting experience already and modeling agencies require you be tall, thin and have a great look that fits into the fashion industry now (although at 11, youd only be eligible for childrens modeling). be very careful and make sure your mom researches this place thoroughly. i am a model in chicago, signed with an agency here and two in other cities, so if you need any more advice, feel free to email me.

I was told to sound "bubbly" and "exciting" and enthusiastic and whatnot in my resume, so how would I do that? I REALLY want to work in this shop. It’s such a neat place. They sell children’s toys and clothing but their big thing is mismatched socks. Since the store is bursting with color, would it be appropriate to make my resume look fun also?
Okay so no making it colorful font wise. How do you use creative writing in a resume?! I’ve NEVER made one before!

U shouldnt make the actual page colorful or fancy at all. It should be business-like (black and white with a standard font) but with colorful and enthusiastic WORDS in the content of your resume.

Been out of work for a while now and I’ve decided update my resume. Does anyone have any tips that can make a resume stand out and also tips for what not to do on a resume.

Your resume writing will be different if you’re applying to an internship position or an entry-level job. Academic resumes, like those for fellowship applications, can include information that your professional resume might not.

List impressive skills.

I am 18 and I am currently in College. Studying General Arts and Science so I can qualify to go to University.

I want to make some money but I have no experience and I have failed in every attempt.

How do I even begin to make a resume?

.Generally if you’ve never had a job, you’re not expected to have a resume’. The places you apply should have employment applications for you to fill out. However if you want to submit a resume’ also, include life skills and classes you’ve taken that are relevant to the job for which you are applying.

Depending on the type of job you are applying for, a resume’ may or may not make a difference. Retail and food service jobs (which are typically the easiest to get for someone without experience) don’t require a resume’…just a good attiude and willingness to deal with the public (and the ability to do it well).
